Upgrade System

Your Yapalong 3020 and Yapalong 3030 can be upgraded to the full configuration of 4 users. Order additional Yapalong 3000 unit(s) and perform a binding procedure to combine all the units into a group. Once it is done, all the units will recognize each other and work as a new group. It is a simple process and only takes a few minutes to do.

If you have lost a unit and bought a new Yapalong 3000 to replace the missing one, you need to do the same binding procedure to bind all the units again as a new group.

Binding Procedure

1. Start with all units powered down, with good batteries installed, and put them all on a table. Make sure there are no other Yapalong units running in the area.

2. Power up any one unit of the group.

3. The unit powers up normally with the red LED flashing a few times and then it stays on.

4. Hold down the Up Button and the Down Button simultaneously for about 2 to 3 seconds, until the LEDs start to flash alternatively (ping-pong). Release. The unit is now in Binding Mode.

5. After a few seconds the LEDs stop ping-pong and both remain on. This is the indication to power up the next unit.

6. Power up the second unit and repeat steps 3 to 5. The LEDs ping-pong time is shorter this time. Repeat this with the rest of the units one at a time.

7.  After all units are finished, power down the units in the same order, one after the other, by holding down the power button for about 2 seconds.

8. Check normal operation of all units. They should be working together as a group.

9. If in doubt, repeat the entire procedure again. There is no limit of the number of times you can bind a Yapalong unit.
